Satellite Beach, Florida is located east of Melbourne, Florida on a barrier island separated from mainland Florida by both the Indian River and the Banana River to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Most people have heard of Cocoa Beach, Florida which is approximately fifteen miles north of Satellite Beach on Highway A1A. If that doesn't set your bearings straight, and you need a larger city for reference Satellite Beach is about sixty miles south and east of Orlando, Florida. I've furnished a map to the right, and the red star actually indicates my home address.
